Sometimes it's a struggle.
Which is weird for me because I gave up drinking soda my sophomore [is it pathetic that I originally tried spelling that softmore?] year of high school. Because I was an athlete. Ha, ha. I remember the lectures we'd get, "You are an athlete. Treat your body right." As if we were destined for the Olympics or something.
But I must admit, I'm glad I did it way back then. I've gone years without soda, but in the last few I've let it creep back in. It's not an addiction by any means [perhaps one a week, if even that], but I must admit: Sometimes there's nothing better than that sprizzly dark liquid creeping down my throat. My other lover, water, can do nothing but watch.
